MY CREW

SARGE is a DJI Matrice 4T - a DJI flagship enterprise class intelligent multi sensor drone. The Matrice 4T is suitable for a wide range of industries, including electricity, roof inspections, emergency response, public safety, Search And Rescue, deer recovery, and more. It is designed for geospatial applications such as surveying and mapping, and construction.

EQUIPPED WITH:
A wide angle camera / 48mp / 24mm
A medium telephoto camera / 48mp / 70mm
A telephoto camera / 48mp / 168mm
An infrared thermal camera / 640x512 / 53mm
A NIR auxiliary light / FOV: 6°, Illumination Distance: 100 meters
A laser rangefinder measuring out to 1800 meters

CAPABLE OF:
Thermal imaging, 3D modeling, precise measurement of distance and area, orthomosaic mapping, surveilance, foreground stabilization, and full color night vision.

With it’s built in AI, it’s capable of identifying people, cars, boats, and tracking them.

Additionally, this drone is outfitted with a built in RTK module which means it’s capable of producing orthomosaic maps with centimeter level accuracy.

It’s current payload is a gimbal-following spotlight and will soon have a mounted speaker for communication to the ground.

This bad boy is LOADED with so many bells and whistles and is ready to get to work!

Skywalker

It all started with this guy…
(and yes, I name my drones!)

As most watercraft are christened with a name, often times aircraft are also given a name.

Skywalker is a DJI Mavic 2 Pro equipped with Hasselblad camera with a 1” CMOS sensor with the equivalent to a 28mm lens. It’s equipped with omnidirectional sensors for safety and It can capture photos in RAW and 4k video. It has a maximum speed of around 45mph and has a 4-5 mile range. And although it’s no longer in production, it’s still one that drone pilots look for due to it’s solid reputation and performance, and because it’s an SDK drone.

I no longer own Skywalker but tip my hat to this drone as it an exceptional, capable, and very reliable aircraft worthy of it’s reputation.

Scout

Scout is a DJI Mini 4 Pro. A lightweight and very versatile drone. Don’t let his small stature deceive you.

It has a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, capable of 4K/60fps HDR and/or D-Log M video recording and 48MP photos. Additionally, it is equipped with an exceptional omnidirectional obstacle sensing, meaning it has a full 360° obstacle avoidance sensing system allowing for safer flying.

It’s loaded with all sorts of whistles and bells, one of which is true vertical shooting which is ideal for capturing footage for social media. With the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus package, it can fly up to 45 minutes per battery. Which means more flight time and fewer interruptions to swap-out batteries.

Wally

Wally is a DJI Mavic 3 Pro. A flagship drone for DJI (and me!) offering a three-camera lens array ranging from 24mm- 166mm.

Hasselblad Camera: (24mm) - 4/3 CMOS, Effective Pixels: 20 MP
Medium Tele Camera: (70mm) - 1/1.3″ CMOS, Effective Pixels: 48 MP
Tele Camera: (166mm) - 1/2″ CMOS, Effective Pixels: 12 MP

With three 43 minute batteries - we can get some work done!

All 3 drones are capable of capturing high resolution images, 4k video and the M3P can also do 5k videos. I can create automated flight paths to capture repeatable results for progression photos / videos and mapping.

Both the Mavic 2 Pro and the Mavic 3 Pro are outfitted with a camera that has a legendary reputation. Hasselblad.
